The DMZ, which is the result of the Korean War, is a place that has been vacant for half a century. This place has a fully preserved natural ecosystem because there hasn’t been any human interferences. This project proposed DMZ network parks which minimized the damage of nature and developed the currently vacant land in an environmentally friendly way. By constructing this park, it is possible to raise awareness of the ecosystem by providing a learning and experiencing space, and revitalize the neighboring city economy. Starting from a bigger scale, the project aimed to propose substantive parks and complex buildings through research.
